Personal experience is not law for everyone. While I think depression is an increasingly popular term, it has some truth within some teenagers. Materialistic things do not equate to happiness, nor do other peoples experiences equate to your own. I think the term is being used in a very flexible manor, but it does not take away from the youth that actually go through it..
