Hello, people.

Thought I should make this to see if I can spark up any conversation. And I believe this is the right category as I guess it can relate somewhat to relationships and dating.

Is there a health benefit to watching porn?
Some people are on the fence when it comes to this question.

My answer would be no. Despite it obviously showing you what sex is. It can also change your perception of what real life should be. Scenarios exist as a fake reality with unrealistic expectations.

It’s quite a debatable topic. Yes for those who have sex needs and can’t do it due to their age limits. No for most of the teenagers cause it’s addictive like you are falling inside a trap.
It’s my opinion. What about you?
 
I think these topics are important in the eyes of education and talking about being safe and open about something so taboo.

I suppose it also depends on the age of the person being exposed to such thing, yes it is normal for teenagers to be curious however, how old is too young yk? Younger people tend to be more influenced by things they watch, therefore may have unrealistic expectations, plus not being as well educated and safe as maybe someone older (20s, adulthood ect) Also the storylines of some of these videos in question are disturbing.

Rather ironic that this is a TEEN chat site, you unnecessarily bring up the subject of porn (many user of this site are under 16) and then your profile clearly shows you want to be a mod. clearly you are totally unsuitable!

Many? You realise that there are also adults?
And that there are many young people getting to that age?

It is important to speak about topics that can really have a big effect.
I believe it is totally necessary and that I am totally suitable for it.

Actually, a small amount of my posts relate to that topic. Even though I do believe that it is an important topic to discuss - I also believe that it is in their best interest to know what is healthy and what is not. Especially when it is entirely possible that addiction can occur.

I don't believe this changed my "suitability" by any amount, if not it increases it because I am willing to talk about things that are in the best interest of the teenagers this site has.

I don't think you owe an explanation to anyone. The admin was indeed asked about this post and if it was allowed and he said there were no problems with it, forums has different (but still similar) rules compared to on site i believe, which is also the reason I decided to participate.
