Appeal for accidental Spam ban - dishita

Hi Admins, my account (username: dishita) was banned by the automated filter for 'Spam'. Actually, a user was trying to flirt with me, and I just replied 'you are a child' to stop them. The bot misinterpreted the word and banned me. I was not spamming. Please review my chat logs and unban me. Thank you!

I know it sounds odd, but it was a false positive by the auto-mod. The system triggers immediately on certain words. I used the word 'child' while telling a minor to leave me alone. If the logs are checked, the moderators will see I was rejecting the DM, not flirting

I have been on the site for a few years, and I code for sites like Teen Chat, so yes, I know how the system works. It is not an auto-mod. It just checks your words against a list.

Next, by what I know, the word child was removed from the list of words but may have been added back. I am a VIP, so I don't worry about my words, and non-VIPs do.

Thanks for the technical insight and clarifying how the word list works. Since you mentioned the word might have been added back recently, that completely explains why I got caught in it while trying to reject the DM. I appreciate your help in understanding this. I'll wait for the admins on the main thread to review the context
