Yesterday, I was involved in a serious road accident.
By the grace of God, I survived. I remained unconscious for several hours, suspended somewhere between awareness and darkness, while those around me fought to get me the help I needed.
The accident left its mark on my body. I suffered a crack in the ribs on my left side, injuries to my left leg and left hand, and even now I struggle to move without pain. Yet the most concerning injury was to my head. The impact struck the left side of my brain, and with each passing day the pain seems to grow stronger, spreading through my entire head like a relentless storm.
Much of what happened afterward is a blur. I can barely remember the journey home. I was told that my elder brother carried me in his arms when I could not carry myself. Soon after, I was placed into an emergency ambulance. Inside were my mother, my father, my uncle, and me, all racing against time as I was rushed to a private hospital for urgent treatment.
The blood loss was significant. My body feels weaker than it ever has before, and every movement serves as a reminder of how close I came to losing everything.
For now, I remain here, recovering one day at a time, grateful to still be breathing, and hoping that the days ahead bring healing to both my body and my mind. In moments like these, I feel the absence of someone who once meant a great deal to me. Yet perhaps some people are destined to remain memories, appearing in our lives long enough to change us, but not long enough to stay.
Some names no longer appear in our stories, yet their absence can still be felt in the quiet moments between heartbeats...β β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β βββ β β β β β ββ~ ππ³πͺπ΅π΅π¦π― π£πΊ ππ³π¬π’π―π¨π¦π.
