I understand the option to make guest accounts are designed to allow people to easily access and chat within the chatroom, but this has obviously been exploited for bots, predators, and such to continuously and obnoxiously boast their banter. For this reason, the idea has spurred in my mind to now openly question the function of guest accounts and wonder if they should even remain. My proposal is that the elimination of guest accounts, while may deplete a bit of the overall traffic to the site, will increase security, safety, and privacy upon the user base. I’m certainly in no stance to make this change, however I’m sure people can’t deny that this change would shift the atmosphere and environment of the chatroom in the right direction.

There’s also a handful of accounts that are apparent, at least from my eyes, that are likely designed to scam people through debauchery to either steal their information or money. Some of which, these accounts don’t even have to be pursued, as some just message users out of random.
 
The only difference between a guest and user is that when signing up guest don’t enter an email. Therefore they don’t get all the same perks. It has no affect on kicks or bans.
 
This subject has been broached in the past and I can guarantee that guest accounts will never be turned off. As much as that would eliminate a lot of the issues it just is never going to happen.
