Saying "taken" on the end of your name implies you would use this site for dating, which is frowned apon.
Additionally, you actually need to tell things about yourself, why you'd want to be moderator, etc.
You can't just pull the quick question card (like I did) and ask "Can I be moderator?"
Yes, to be a moderator a while ago I just asked nicely. Doesn't work like that anymore.
